One of the most noted expert on growing gingers in the Houston area is Ceil Dow, a member of Lake Houston Gardeners.  She will share her expertise with us at the monthly meeting, Monday,  May 13, at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.  Ceil has been growing gingers for over 30 years, and speaks to groups all over Houston.  She has been in charge Mercer March  Mart Gingers concession for decades.  And, gingers love heat and humidity, which makes them ideal plants for the summer.
