Karen Crabtree of the Kingwood Garden Club  will give will speak at the October meeting of the Lake Houston Gardeners on Monday, October 14.  .  Karen’s garden was the No. 1 home on the Kingwood Garden Club’s Tour of Homes and Gardens in 2024. Many members of our garden club we.  e impressed  with the bright colors and seemingly effortless design , so she was asked to give some tips on how to create such a fabulous space.

According to Karen, a beautiful spring garden begins in the fall, when perennials need to be planted or given some attention.  She will offer tips and plant choices along with her presentation, which members can use on the upcoming field trip to Arborgate

Karen is a longtime resident of Kingwood and a Master Gardener through the Texas A&M Extension Agency.  She lives in The Pointe with her husband and her dog.
