The March meeting will feature the expertise of three different members of Lake Houston Gardeners on growing different types of plants in pots. The meeting will be at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on Northpark in Kingwood, on Monday, March 13, 2023.  The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. with social time, followed by the speakers and then a plant exchange. 

 Cynthia Goodell will talk about growing vegetables on a patio vertical patio system called GreenStalk. This mobile planter allows you to use less space and roll around to catch the sun as it changes.  Phyllis Bost presents how to’s on decorative pots, and Gudrun Opperman will add a few pointers on growing natives in containers.

 Last month we had an excellent turnout to hear about the new organization “Trees for Kingwood”.  Seven new members joined the club; membership director Barbara Adams said that there are now 90 members of Lake Houston Gardeners.
