The next field trip for the Lake Houston Garden Club will be Friday, April 8, to Enchanted Gardens. This a huge and beautiful nursery in Richmond, Texas, filled with just about every type of plant for the “Plant-a-holics” among us, as well as garden decorations to overwhelm any decorator’s sensibilities.  The shopping will be followed by a lunch at Sandy McGee’s, a local sandwich shop near the nursery.

A county bus will be leaving Good Shepherd Episcopal Church at 8:45 a.m. and return no later than 3 p.m.  If you would like to go, contact Patti or leave a contact on the side.  

Patti Muhlberger, who is organizing the event, said that the bus will be big enough to handle any purchases we may acquire at the nursery. The club made this trip last April and many members asked to do it again.  This year the trip is on a Friday instead of a weekend, which may depress the crowds a bit.
