Find Out What Danger lurks in your garden

Suzzanne Chapman with Jeanne Street

Many common house and garden plants are toxic to humans and pets.  Suzzanne Chapman, once the curator of plants at Mercer Gardens, will give us a presentation on which plants may be dangerous to ourselves and others at the next Lake Houston Gardeners monthly meeting.  The meeting will be Monday, March 10, starting at 6:30p.m. with refreshments and social time.  The presentation will begin around 7 p.m. after a brief business meeting, followed by a plant exchange.  Jeanne Street will will briefly explain how to document entries for the Garden Fest, the Kingwood Garden Club flower show scheduled for April 5.

The presentation does NOT include information on how to make poisons from  garden plants, although maybe you can pick up some pointers (Am I reading too many mysteries?)
